BOE-A-2026-9794 records that the Constitutional Court, by providencia of 28 April 2026, admitted recurso de inconstitucionalidad 1549-2026 against specified precepts of Valencian Ley 5/2025 (30 May) that had rewritten articles of Ley 8/2017, including Article 16 rules on starting pharmacological treatment for minors. The President of the Government invoked Constitution Article 161.2, which suspends those challenged incisos from the date of the challenge for the parties and from BOE publication for third parties. The Court’s own Nota Informativa 52-2026 records that admission and suspension. BOE-A-2026-16931 then records Auto 45/2026 (7 July 2026), which maintained the suspension in part.
The Constitutional Court paused specified 2025 amendments to Valencia’s Ley 8/2017, including the Article 16 pharmacological-treatment rules for minors. Auto 45/2026 kept part of that suspension in place.
