Who we are
We Speak Truth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity. EIN 33-2053514. PO Box 2891, Springfield, VA 22152 This policy covers wespeaktruth.com. It does not cover other websites we link to, including the donation page.
Information you give us
Email updates. If you subscribe, we collect your name, your email address, and whether you asked for a daily news update, a weekly roundup, or both. We use that information to send the updates you chose.
Contact form. If you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, organization if you include one, the topic you choose, and your message. We use that information to reply.
Donations. Online gifts are processed by Anedot, a third party. Card numbers and bank details are entered on Anedot’s site. We Speak Truth Foundation does not store your card data. Anedot may share your name, email address, and gift amount with us so we can send a receipt and keep our records. A check mailed to our PO Box is not entered on this website. Do not mail card numbers.
Google Analytics 4 and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this website. That includes which pages are read, and whether a visit, an email signup, or a click on a donate link followed an advertisement. The Google Analytics tag on this site is G-S8RNWM3Y63.
Google Analytics uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. On this site the cookies are named _ga and _ga_S8RNWM3Y63. They help tell one browser from another. They are not a record of your name or email address.
If you arrive from a Google ad, Google may measure that the ad was followed by a page view, an email signup, or a click on a donate link. We use that measurement to see whether the ad was useful. We do not sell that information.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works if you refuse these cookies. Visit counts will be less complete. Google describes its own practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
Email signups and Mailchimp
Email subscriptions are stored by Mailchimp, an email service from Intuit. Mailchimp holds your name, email address, and the update frequency you chose.
Double opt-in may be turned off. That means submitting the form once can add you to the list, without a second confirmation email. You can unsubscribe at any time. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also mail the PO Box below, or email us, and ask to be removed. We will remove you.

Donations and Anedot
Donate links and Donate buttons leave this site and open Anedot at secure.anedot.com. We Speak Truth Foundation does not store your card data. Anedot’s own privacy policy covers what they collect on that page: Anedot Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal data
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade our email list. We share information with Google, Mailchimp, and Anedot only so they can do the work described on this page, or when the law requires it.
The company that hosts this website may count page visits without an advertising cookie. Those counts do not include your name or email address.
Children
This website is written for adults, including parents and other members of the public. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
