Dignitas Infinita §§55–60 (Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, 2 April 2024) rejects gender theory and says a sex-change intervention, as a rule, risks the dignity of the person. The same paragraphs set aside medical help for genital abnormalities already evident at birth or that develop later — disorders of sex development, not a transgender pathway.
