Uruguay’s 2016 hormonization guide recommends puberty suppression with GnRH analogues from Tanner 2–3, and opposite-sex hormones from 16.
The 2016 MSP hormonization guide says that when those feelings stay intense, clinicians should consider suppressing puberty with GnRH analogues from Tanner stages 2–3, and should not start estrogen or androgen before 16. ASSE publishes a cross-sex hormone protocol for the public system.

Ley N.º 18.437, the General Education Law, on the official IMPO text, lists educación sexual as a transversal line of the national education system (Article 40 H). Numeral 8 states that sexuality education is to provide instruments for critical reflection on gender relations and sexuality. That is a national statute expanding CSE.
