Organic Law 2017-58 of 11 August 2017 on eliminating violence against women, Article 7, requires the ministries of education, higher education, vocational training, culture, health, youth, sport, childhood, women, and religious affairs to develop educational and cultural programmes that include education in health and sexuality (éducation à la santé et à la sexualité). That is an official national schools duty.
