The National Advisory Commission on Biomedical Ethics 2024 opinion addresses medical treatment of minors with gender dysphoria, including puberty blockers after Tanner 2 under specialist care. Canton Zürich’s Health Directorate stated on 11 July 2025 that access to puberty blockers for transgender adolescents remains unrestricted, prescribed by specialist endocrinologists after interdisciplinary assessment.
