The official Eastern Health Children and Women’s Health Program page says the Gender Wellness Clinic at Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre supports transgender and gender non-binary children and youth through childhood. Listed work includes treatment with puberty blockers and/or hormones. The team is pediatric endocrinologists. Care runs to the 18th birthday. A referral from a family doctor, pediatrician, or nurse practitioner is required. There is no provincial medical ban.
