Jordan’s Medical and Health Liability Law No. 25 of 2018, Article 8(h), forbids a service provider from performing sex-change operations (إجراء عمليات تغيير الجنس). The statute defines sex change as changing the sex of a person whose male or female belonging is clear. Temporary hard labour of three to ten years attaches to violating 8(h). That is a surgery prohibition. It does not, by its own words, enact a separate puberty-blocker or cross-sex-hormone statute. This medical cell is Banned.
