The official 2023 Junior Cycle SPHE specification, published on curriculumonline.ie and used from first year in September 2023, includes Strand 3 Relationships and sexuality. Learning outcome 3.6 requires pupils to appreciate the breadth of human sexuality and how sexual orientation and gender identity are experienced and expressed in diverse ways. That is official CSE.
