Senate bills, including “¡Con los niños no te metas!” and 2026 Proyecto de Ley 211 “Ley Laura,” would restrict puberty blockers and opposite-sex hormones for minors. They have not been enacted.
Official Senado records still list “¡Con los niños no te metas!” as a live bill covering puberty blockers, opposite-sex hormones, and surgery on minors. A later 2026 Senate filing, Proyecto de Ley 211 “Ley Laura, Niños No Experimento,” would also prohibit those interventions under 18. Those bills have not been enacted. Resolución 3280 de 2018 is a general health-route rule. It asks staff to ask about gender identity and to counsel adult trans women about estrogen and surgery. It does not set a pediatric puberty-blocker protocol. Constitutional Court T-218/2022 records one tutela case in which a pediatric endocrinologist started puberty blockade.

Ley 1620 de 2013, on the official Función Pública text, creates the Sistema Nacional de Convivencia Escolar and Formación para el Ejercicio de los Derechos Humanos, la Educación para la Sexualidad y la Prevención y Mitigación de la Violencia Escolar. Article 20 requires pedagogical sexuality-education projects, by age, covering human development, reproduction, sexual and reproductive health, contraception, cultural construction of sexuality, gender behaviours, and sexual diversity.
